Lebanese Mulberry Syrup
Mulberry is a favorite berry in Lebanon, akin to blackberry but darker, richer. This gorgeous syrup is a sweet and tart, making it excellent in sweet and savory recipes. Mulberry syrup is perfection drizzled over roasted vegetables (my favorite: Thanksgiving brussels sprouts with mulberry! Finish with big, beautiful toasted pine nuts). This syrup is also wonderful in cocktails, vinaigrettes, over ice cream and pancakes, or to brighten fruit salad.
